Tavo Montañez is an illustrator, artist and graphic designer.
He works in various fields of graphic communication from his hometown Aguascalientes, Mexico.
He has builded illustrations and designs for creative agencies, books, magazines, advertising, beers, tequilas, TV shows, environmental designs in museums and universities, screen printing posters, and some walls, where he has explored new experiences integrating graphic design, lettering, editorial, typography and different illustration styles.
As an illustrator he usually start the creative process with some notes and sketches in his sketchbook. He like to work in analog mediums, mainly pencil and ink on paper, incorporating the potential of the latest technology by frequently combining traditional drawing with computer processing and often by creating fully digital graphics.
